Just thought of another question, since I’m sketching out some poster ideas right now…
Would you prefer the posters to be vertical or horizontal? I know they’re supposed to be 11×17, but I didn’t know if we were allowed to do horizontal ones.
Thanks!
They can be vertical or horizontal … the choice is yours! We can’t wait to review the submissions … hooray!
I noticed on the schedule page it says this on the 3 poster dates:
“KSLU and Toe Taps and Spastic Claps Present:
Billiken Club Bene-Fest Show! Supporting The Urban Studio.”
Does this info need to go on the posters? Also, does the Urban Studio have any sort of logo that should appear on these as well?
Sorry to ask so many questions!
No worries. I am glad you are asking them! We recently added the sponsorship for the Bene-Fest and would appreciate it if you could include all of that information. However, if you are at a point in your design where it is too late to add it, we understand.
As for The Urban Studio, we do not have a logo, but if you could make sure to include the name of the organization as well as their website, that would be great.
Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions … that’s why we are here!
[...] Continuing with their support of the arts, The Billiken Club is also hosting a poster design contest. The deadline is quickly approaching, (March 10th) so we highly recommend that you get on with it immediately. More info can be found here! [...]
Would you guys prefer RGB or CMYK jpeg files? I’m getting mine ready to send fairly soon.
CMYK jpeg files, please. Thank you!
When will the winning poster be selected?
Could you post the winning posters on the site somewhere?
