  22. Vampire Weeekend has a few days between April 1st and April 4th with nothing booked, and they’ll be in the Midwest.. Just putting that feeler out there! I don’t think a Vampire Weekend show would be a hard sell.

  27. About the contest… do you have to be a SLU student or is this open to anyone? Also, are you looking for a poster for each, or could we just pick one concert to design for?

  28. The poster competition is open to the public! We are accepting submissions for the following:

    (a) Benefest poster including all three dates
    (b) March 27: Aloha with Anathallo and Ohtis
    (c) March 28: School of Language with Bodies of Water and Riddle of Steel
    (d) March 29: British Sea Power with The 1900s and Target Market

    Don’t forget to include the following information on each poster:
    (a) Date of Show
    (b) The Billiken Club
    (c) Billiken Club Website (billikenclub.slu.edu)
    (d) Doors 8PM | Show 9PM | FREE | All Ages | Open To The Public
    (e) Supporting The Urban Studio (theurbanstudio.org)
    (f) Bands performing (duh)

    Check back for added dates for the poster competition. We really look forward to reviewing all of the submissions!

  37. The shows can get pretty crowded however we haven’t had to turn people away yet, thankfully. If you get there by 8 when the doors open you shouldn’t have any problems.
